About Me

The Why & The How

I am committed to advancing our understanding of consciousness by integrating neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and philosophy. My goal is to explore how consciousness emerges, its connection to the brain and body, and whether it can be replicated in machines. Through rigorous research and interdisciplinary collaboration, I aim to contribute to the development of theories that clarify the nature of consciousness, bridging gaps between computational models, cognitive science, and philosophical inquiry.

By pursuing a bachelors in neuroscience with a minor in artificial intelligence, master's in computer science and a PhD in cognitive neuroscience, I seek to refine my expertise and engage with leading scholars in the field. My work will emphasize scientific rigor, intellectual curiosity, and ethical consideration, ensuring that advancements in AI and neuroscience align with a deeper understanding of human cognition.

The When

I envision a future where the mysteries of consciousness are unraveled through the fusion of neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and philosophy. By bridging these disciplines, I aspire to contribute to a more complete understanding of the mind—one that not only advances scientific knowledge but also informs the ethical and practical development of AI and cognitive technologies.

Through cutting-edge research and collaboration with leading experts, I aim to help shape a world where our grasp of consciousness deepens, influencing fields from medicine to artificial intelligence in ways that enhance both human and machine cognition. My ultimate goal is to push the boundaries of what we know about the mind, paving the way for innovations that respect and expand our understanding of intelligence itself.

The What & The Where

I am currently pursuing a degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Artificial Intelligence exploring the intersections of cognition, machine learning, and the philosophical foundations of consciousness. To deepen my expertise, I am actively seeking Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs) that align with my interests in neuroscience, AI, and consciousness studies—particularly those led by researchers such as Michael Graziano (Princeton University), Jesse Gomez (Princeton University), Jonathan Cohen (Princeton University), and David Evans (University of Virginia). These opportunities will allow me to engage in hands-on research, develop technical skills, and collaborate with experts who are shaping the future of these fields.

My goal is to pursue a master’s degree in computer science in Asia, followed by a PhD in cognitive neuroscience in Europe. Through this path, I seek to develop a robust interdisciplinary approach to studying consciousness, contributing to cutting-edge research that bridges neuroscience, AI, and philosophy. Ultimately, I aspire to work alongside leading researchers in the field, advancing our understanding of intelligence and the mind while shaping the ethical and scientific implications of AI and cognitive science.
